Dear fellow supply chain enthusiasts. I came across the term circuity factor while pursuing the MITX SCX0 Supply Chain Analytics course online. I was intrigued not only by its application in supply chain management but also by its ability to quantify and compare road infrastructure across countries. Since I couldn’t find a tool online that allowed me to calculate the circuity factor for a selected geography, I decided to create one. This tool is free and open to all, who are interested in supply chain management. Going forward I will be improving this tool in order to let users calculate circuity factors within irregular geometric overlays rather than rectangular overlays (currently used).
